06 Yearly Activities for the Year 2005-2006

1st August 2005 to 30th July 2006

Yearly activities during the academic Year of 2005-2006

This was probably the most low keyed year for the life of AMRO. The year began with Fondation day on August 2nd 2005 again a low keyed affar. Our Chairman gave us the state of affairs and appraised us about the unexpected and unexplained departure of Mr. Shibu George from the Amro scene. Mr. Gogad, Major Kulkarni and Mr. Deepak Kadke were the guests invited. The function ended after lunch.

After getting displaced from Hotel The Plaza suddenly we were homeless and had to get shifted to a bunglow to conduct our business. After searching thoroughly the outskirts of Nashik we located the place on Mumbai Nashik Highway about 9 Kms from pathardi Phata in an area called as RAJURBAHULA. A beautiful piece of land admeasuring about 5 acres of land which has about half Kms of highway front and Valdevi River touching the rear end of the plot. The total land is spread on three levels from Highway level to the river level there is about 35 feet of drop. During rainy season we have tow natural water falls on our premises which stays till about Nov every year.

Going forward our Directors made a trip to Kerala in Thiruvantanapuram to meet Mr. Laurie Baker ( to know more about Mr. Baker please refer to our Chairman's tribute to him under the infrastructure section of this web page). He is the chief architect of our project.

Bhoomi Poojan was done on June 1st and the construction began almost immediately.

Hopefully soon we will be at our new HOME.
