Mrs. Sunanda Soni is the Director of our Institute. She has done her M.Sc. in Zoology with a specialization in Parasitology. This gives her an added boost in teaching the subject of Hygiene and Nutrition, which is an integral part of the Food Production Department. She has completed her Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Tourism Management . Apart from this, she has successfully completed, with honors, certificate courses from the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute, in Cookery, Training and Development as well as Food & Beverage Service.
Mrs. Soni also teaches students in the disciplines of Communication Skills & Front Office, apart from guiding students in areas such as grooming, etiquette & professionalism.
Armed with a B.A. degree with distinction in Psychology and Functional English, a Certificate course in French, three years working experience as a freelance writer with a reputed Nashik newspaper supplement, and strong communication skills, Ms. Soni is not only the French instructor at Amro, but also an in-house counsellor and friend to our students. She has also done her MPM ( Masters in Personnel Management) thus she takes care of some of Management related courses such as HR, Supervision and Leadership .
Most recently she has cleared her NET exam (an all India Test). She guides students who are having trouble with their studies, language coping problems, and even those who just need to talk to someone.
Having completed his BScHS from Pune University while working part-time in the hospitality industry, followed by Masters of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management. Recently he has been approved by Pune University as a certified approved Assistant Professor. Mr. Rohan brings both a strong base of theoretical knowledge coupled with varied experience from work in both the Front Office as well as F&B Service departments. This enables him to bridge the gap that is often found between the theoretical aspects of the syllabus and the actual needs and requirements of the industry, so as to shape better hospitality graduates. He has also completed the Bartending and Beverage Management twin certification, and now teaches the same course.
Among the most popular of the faculty, he is well liked and respected for both his knowledge base as well as his uncanny ability to relate to the students.
Mr. Gaurav has a double MBA, one in Marketing and the other one in Human Resources, along with several years of teaching management subjects, making him the ideal candidate to shape the habits and thinking of future managers. Always ready to teach concepts in non-traditional methods, he is well known in the campus for bringing Management games, activities and case studies to supplement the regular teaching methodologies.
He is well liked by the students for his sense of humor and his ability to make difficult and complex concepts more relatable and easier to understand.
Mr. Telang comes to us after almost 16 years of Industry experience. His speciality is in the field of Cookery , Housekeeping and F&B Service. He is well versed with Indian, International cusines and also bakery. He has worked in various properties at various positions since 2002. He is a hands on man and loves to share his culinary techniques with the new generation . His experiences are appreciated by all students . Always helpful to the students.
Samson Patahre is a guest lecturer at AMRO . He works a local International chain hotel and visits us to teach our third year students about the intricacies of Front Office department. He has aver 15 years of experience in the industry
Ameya Purohit is a BHMCT graduate of 2005 batch. He has received extensive training in bakery and confectionery .He was in UK from 2008 till 2012 at various bakeries. Prior to going to UK he has worked in Orchid hotel Mumbai in bakery section. Has his own bakery in Nashik.Ameya Purohit teaches our students the bakery and confectionary courses with their practicals. He is a hands on man and an asset to team Amro.
